Before You Go
Sign the back of your card as soon as you receive it and memorize your PIN. If you wish to change your PIN to a more memorable number, go to My Account and follow the instructions.
At My Account you can also register your bank account details so that you will be able to reload your card online while traveling should you wish.
While You’re Away
You can use your card in any cash machine which carries the Visa logo. You will usually be able to choose an English language option. Enter your PIN as usual and you will be asked to enter the amount you want to withdraw in the local currency. Your cash will be dispensed in the currency of the country you are in.
In shops, hotels and restaurants use the card as you would a debit card at home. You will be asked to sign a receipt or enter your PIN for any goods or services.
If you lose your card, contact us as soon as possible so that we can cancel the card for you. If you have chosen to carry an additional card you will be able to continue using this card when the first one is cancelled. Otherwise, we offer a range of free assistance services to help you, such as emergency cash replacement.
When You Get Home
If you would like to keep your card for your next trip, you can load additional funds by visiting a local branch.
If you would prefer not to keep your card, you can use the balance on your card as part-payment for goods or services in shops, restaurants etc. Ask the cashier to process your Visa TravelMoney card first and then your other means of payment.
Alternatively you can return to the branch where you bought it and they will refund the balance. There may be a charge made by the branch for this service.
