SCAM ALERT!
We’ve been made aware of an active scam targeting our customers today.
Fraudsters are posing as Germantown Trust & Savings Bank’s “Treasury Department” and contacting customers by phone call and text message. In some cases, they are even spoofing our phone numbers and email addresses to appear legitimate.
Let’s be clear:
GTSB will NEVER contact you and ask for:
- Online Banking Credentials
- Debit card numbers or PIN
- One-time passcodes or security codes
- Full account information via phone, text, or email.
If you receive a call or message like this:
- DO NOT respond
- DO NOT click on any links
- DO NOT provide any information
- DO: Hang up immediately
- DO: Contact us directly using a trusted number
- DO: Report the incident to our team
Even if the caller ID or message looks like it’s from us – it can be faked.
We’re glad no customers have been impacted so far. Let’s keep it that way.
